Korean Mask Sheets and their effects

so I’d like to dedicate this entry finally to Korean Mask sheets 🙂 I didn’t have the time to post for a week but now I’m here again.

At first, it’s worth mentioning that South Korea is a leading country in cosmetics – so it’s not surprising that they invented the so called “Sheet Masks”.

So what are Sheet Masks?

They are face-shaped sheet fabrics with a lot of nutrition packed in them. There are many different kind of Sheet Masks – depending on the skin care you need.

I will show you some examples by showing the Sheet Masks I’ve got at home and explain what each of their effects are.

These are just the remaining ones I got from my trip to Korea and the ones my mum-in-law sent to me.

So let’s start with the first category!

The Nourishing

In this section I put in the Pomegranate, Acai Berry, Bamboo and the 2 Character Mask sheets which also nourish and soothe the skin.

These two as you an see above are by the brand “The Face Shop”, which I highly recommend if you’re thinking of where or by what brand to buy Sheet Masks. They really have tons of different Sheet Masks and they feel really good on your skin. Also, their effect and usage is (always if not mostly) written on English in the front and on the back so you can easily understand it. 🙂

Pomegranate is said to have a super-effect on your skin in terms of restoring your skin’s cells. Plus it helps the defence of your skin to reduce the aging of your skin due to air pollution and stress. If you are looking for these effects in a Sheet Mask, look out for the description as written in font of the mask on the upper right: “탄력” (tanryeok).

Acai Berry also increases the resilience of your skin and even has a higher amount of moisture for your skin! If you’re looking for that type of completion check out this one: “탄력충전” (tanryeok-chungjeon).

These two are quite a funny way of Skin care, cause these Sheets will look like these characters on your face. The Sheets in these cases are printed with different animals!

I don’t have so many of those left which my mum-in-law gave to me. Anyways, these two are as you can see on the left nourishing (“탄력영양”, tanryeok-yeongyang, tanryeok means “resilience”, yeongyang means “nourish”) and on the right soothing (“수분진정”, subun-jinjeong, subun means “moisture”, jinjeong means “soothing”). It really depends on what your skin needs but I think they match the best in this category. They are also by The Face Shop. If you’re tending to have dry or sensitive skin these ones are the go for you. In any case, check if this “수분” (subun) is written in front of the mask sheet when you’re considering buying it. It’ll promise to nourish and moisture your skin definitely!

The Bamboo Sheet: I really like to use this Sheet Mask if I have dry skin during winter. It helps your skin to get moisturized again and I also like the formula of the Nature Republic masks in general. I recommend this mask if you’re desperate for a needed moisture for your skin 🙂 Also the effect is “수분” (subun) + “ 청정” (cheongjeong) which means “Moisture + Pureness”. The sheet is not for cleansing your skin of course but it helps the pores to stay clean. If you’re having acne for example, it’s still important to moisture your skin – some people might think it will increase the number of spots though – and this mask provides a cleanance for your skin. Sometimes, if you have dry skin it could be that you get spots: this is a sign that your skin needs moisture asap! Use a sheet mask like this which provides moisture and a clean appearance for your skin. This one is perfect for sensitive and irritated skin.

The Acai Berry sheet: As mentioned before, the Acai Berry mask sheet will help your skin to get moistured and increases the resilience and defence of your skin. I think this one might even be better than the Face Shop one. It’s also written on the front that it helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles on your skin. I think this Berry is really a bomb, you should be looking out for it!

The Moisturizing

The four mask sheets I’d consider to be highly moisturizing. The difference to the Nourishing ones is that they might not especially improve the condition and resilience of your skin but just deeply moisturize it.

The Shea Butter mask sheet is a little exception in this category: it improves the resilience of your skin but more than that I think it moisturizes the skin. As you can read on the front it provides also nutrition – and that’s what really packed in it! I used this mask sheet quite often to moisture my face. I also used Shea Butter creams for my face quite a lot and I liked it. They have quite a heavy formula but if that’s okay for you then you’re good to go with anything filled with Shea Butter!

Green Tea mask sheet! I love Green Tea for skin care. Why? Like in this mask sheet, it hydrates and moisturizes the skin plus it also refreshes it to a high level. I like to use everything with Green Tea in it – day creams, masks, eye creams etc. If you feel like your skin looks a bit dull and you look tired through a longer time – this formula might help you out! You can use anything with Green Tea. The mask sheet also provides an increasement of moisture for your skin around 86%! Use it and you’ll see why it’s so good. 🙂

I haven’t used the Olive sheet mask very often (because I don’t like Olives generally that much, lol) but it provides as you can read exra moisture. If your skin is dry to a level where you can peel it off, use a mask that contains Olive extracts like this one. On the upper right you can see “집중” (jibjung) which means “intense” and “보습” (boseub) which means “holding of moisture“.

This one is an Aloe mask sheet by the brand Etude House. I guess this is the only mask sheet I have left by EH. As I wrote in another entry I really like the products of EH when it comes to skin care, I can’t say anything about their make-up products yet. This mask sheet in any way provides a “Soothing Relief” (수분진정, subun-jinjeong), smiliar to the other mask sheets of this category. Aloe is literally a moisture bomb and I also enjoy to drink Aloe juice to take care of my skin as well. I love the smell, too! If you’re a beginner with mask sheets then I’d recommend Aloe products in any case! You’ll love it 🙂

The Brightening and Energizing

This category again contains Pomegranate as well as Red Ginseng, Royal Jelly (Honey) and a high-quality Hydrogel mask sheet I got from my mum-in-law. I’ll just skip the Pomegranate one but I put in this category since Pomegranate energizes your skin in terms of its defence in my opinion!

The Red Ginseng Sheet: Until now everything I’ve tried with Red Ginseng was energizing in any way possible. I’ve used several masks with Red Ginseng in it and it provides to revitalize tired-looking and dull skin. Also it’s very present in Korean medicine. There are vitalizing snacks such as dried Red Ginseng. It’s said to revitalize the body and stimulates its circulation of blood. So its effect is definitely to go from tired to awake! It feels like coffein for your skin. I haven’t used it that often until now but I can agree on that effect – I also like these medicines with Red Ginseng in it – even though its benefit is not yet proven in the Western researches.

The Royal Jelly mask sheet by Nature Republic. This quite expensive and rare part of honey is a good content of this mask sheet. It also offers an anti-aging effect since its said to decrease the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles such as the Acai Berry of the same brand. Like the Pomegranate, Royal Jelly or Honey in general is said to improve the resilience of your skin. And surely, who doesn’t like the smell of honey 🙂

Maybe this one is a bit hard to get but I’d like to write something about it. This is the Multi Pefection 100 Hydrogel Mask by Cel-Derma. This brand is very well-developed in terms of dermatology. Its a bit more expensive than the mask sheets I showed you by the other brands. I’ve put it in this category since, as you can read on the front, it promises a Wrinkle Care & Whitening Care. Its also hydrating, firming and nourishing as well. If you’re a starter with mask sheets then maybe you shouldn’t mind so much – you’ll do very good with the other masks as well. Also there is no English written on the back unfortunately. But if you’re ever in Korea or have the chance to get mask sheets by dermatological companies then you should try to.This mask sheet did stick to my face like no other (sometimes they tend to fall off even if you’re lying in bed).

The funny ones

You’ll also find masks that are just good to your skin – like these ones – but don’t suggest for which skin type they do match. Anyways you’ll do fine when using them plus its funny and worth some selfies 🙂

The girly one

One of my favorite sheet masks is the Rose one. If your skin looks dull it gives back your natural and youthful skin tone/teint. Also elderly people like to use it to regain their younger skin tone. I really like how it turns your skin into a real lovely tone.

I think I will write another seperate blog entry for the skin food masks cause they are quite worth their own entry.

So if you’re about to buy Korean mask sheets but aren’t sure which one you need and which ones are good for you, here’s a short summary.

  • You need moisture? Try to find mask sheets on which anything with “수분” (subun) is written, if its not written in English there. Otherwise, the following extracts will be good for you: Aloe, Shea Butter, Olive, Bamboo, Green Tea.
  • Your skin should look vitalized? Try Red Ginseng, Green Tea or Rose extracts. They’ll wake you up and give you a nice teint. The best description on the mask sheet would be “영양” (yeongyang).
  • You need anti-aging? “탄력” (tanryeok) with Pomegranate, Rose, Acai Berry and Honey. They are said to make you look younger on the long way. Or at least they’ll help you to avoid any faster aging?

I hope this helped you a little bit. See you when I give you more advices!

“Beauty Diet”: Contradictions with using too many Skin Care-products

Hello again,

only some days ago I wrote an introduction of how to master the Korean Skin Care routine for those of you who didn’t know or just wanted to know more about it.

As you can read in that entry, I suggested some 8 essential steps for your Skin Care routine. The order of these steps I’ve been taught by Korean friends, tutorials and magazines as well. Like I presented it to you, it’s been a mixture of all advices I got within quite a time and it’s the way how the Skin Care routine works best for me.

Now there’s another side of the medal, which is surely worth talking about: Not everyone in Korea recommends using as much products like in these steps described before. Nowadays, a lot of Koreans who actually did the huge Skin Care routines on a daily basis are now getting “minimalistic”. It’s hard to find any English information about it on the internet but it’s easy to find in Korean. If you’re able to understand Korean feel free to have a look at this article:

화장품도 다이어트가 필요해요

In this article it is explained how Korean Make-Up Artists even advise a “Beauty diet” for your skin. Many young people are tending to the trend of being Minimalists in terms of using beauty prodcts – and the number of them is increasing. It just means that they only use the products their skin really needs: e.g. one cream, one serum, one lotion at a time. That is their new Skin Care routine. Korean Make-Up Artists explain that using too much products could cause trouble indeed for your skin. In this way it won’t help your skin but rather just irritate it.

I found this view very interesting, just because I started doing the whole Skin Care routine using 7-8 products at a time and it actually made me doubt the way I’m doing it now.

What’s the result of doing the extended Skin Care routine anyways?

I must say, after each step my skin feels really good. Especially when using the Toner and Emulsion, I think I will stick to these two products whatever may happen. Just when I applied the Toner and Emulsion, the Serum after it (even if I wait for some minutes) doesn’t feel so right. The Serum itself is deeply hydrating but maybe all the formulas together don’t work so well. I also heard before, that just using a Serum as your one and only Skin care product sometimes works pretty fine, too. But for me personally, it’s not a good layer of moisture before applying make-up. So I’d have to go with the Emulsion or a thicker Cream at least. You should also note: if you were wondering maybe why your make-up doesn’t last the whole day and is “disappearing” or getting smudgy during the day – using too much Skin Care products before applying make-up will make it fade faster. Your make-up won’t be setted on its place because there’s too much product under it. Try to apply just a sparse amount of skin care products if you’re going to make-up your face.

Since I’ve done the extended version of the Skin Care routine for some weeks now, I can’t even really say that my skin got better. It just feels nice when applying the products. But as for now, I couldn’t tell whether my skin gained something from it or if it is even irritating my skin, like I mentioned before. My skin is not looking better, but that might be influenced by the cold weater we still have here, too.

So, you should try to find a routine that works well for you – no matter in which extent. I definitely still recommend doing these steps of a Skin Care routine, but (!) if you notice it’s too much for your skin then try to reduce the amount of products used. I’m also trying to find a healthy compromise in this topic. 🙂 We can learn everyday from it and everyone has  another skin type which needs to be cared of in a very individual way.

Next time I will introduce more products to you which definitely worked well for me, even when I didn’t start to have a Skin Care routine to that extent yet. It’ll concern high-end and low-end-products as well. 🙂

See you then!

Korean Skin Care Basics – the essential steps + recommendations

Hello there!

I wouldn’t have started this blog to recommend and share experiences on different Korean products with you if there’s no explaining about Korean Skin Care as a whole at first.

I never really cared for a skin care “routine” until 2-3 years ago. I just washed my face with water in the morning, applied a cream and put just a little make-up on. In the evening I then used to wash my face with water again, used some make-up-cleanser and that was the whole story.

Now which “cream” am I talking about? I just went to the drug store nearby, got some Nivea moisturizing cream and didn’t think about other alternatives. You will read and hopefully learn a lot about the variety of “creams” out there while you’re keeping up to date with this blog.

Since I gained interest in Korean cosmetics and Skin care products I really got obsessed with it. Maybe you’ll see why and what’s the reason for this.

In Korea, girls (and boys – sometimes – as well!) do not jut apply one cream on their face in the morning. Let me briefly tell you what the Skin care routine in Korea is about in the next 8 essential steps:

  • No. 1: Cleansing your face off. In the morning and in the evening, you wash your dry face with a Cleansing Oil. This helps your skin to absorb the following products and gets washed off the rawest of your applied make-up (in the evening). Rinse it off with water then. I tend to use it only in the evening when cleansing make-up off.     Products I have used and recommend for this step:

Shiseido Generic Skincare Perfect Cleansing Oil   29,95€ at ParfumDreams.de
  • No. 2: Cleansing your face off even more. Use a Cleansing Foam, Cleansing Gel or Make-up Remover to wash your face again and to get everything off it. I prefer to use a Cleansing Milk if my skin is irritated a lot or is in a dry condition. Rinse again with water. Products I have used and recommend for this step:
MAC Gently Off Eye and Lip Makeup Remover, 22$ at maccosmetics.com
Daiso Japan Natural Face Charcoal Cleansing Foam, ca. 7$ at Amazon.com
Rituals Mild Eye make-up Remover 10,50€ at eu.rituals.com
Rituals Mild Facial Cleansing Milk, 10,50€ at eu.rituals.com
  • No. 3: Refreshing your skin! After the first 2 steps you’ll get to refresh your skin with a Toner. This one becomes a bit complicated because you can consider a Toner as the same as a “Skin”, “Facial Water” or “Mist”. Some brands even developed very light Lotions which can also be considered as a Toner. It’s just important that it looks as light as water and has a very light consistency. Don’t be afraid of buying the wrong product for this step if you’re just keeping this in mind. I know there are a lot of different opinions on how to differentiate the products mentioned but this is just my view on how to choose the products which might be necessary for you. I do this step in the morning and evening as well. Products I have used and recommend for this:
Etude House Moistfull Collagen Facial Toner 17,95€ at LoveMyCosmetic.de
La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water, ca. 12€ at Amazon.de
Etude House White Moistfull Toner, sadly sold out 😦
  • No. 4: Applying the first light portion of moisture. Use an Essence to get a light moisture on your face before the next steps. An Essence can also be named a light “Lotion” or “Emulsion” as some brands do it. I will explain this with an example when I’ll introduce some products to you later on my blog. Just remind to use a watery product in step 3 and a liiiiittle bit more creamy one on this here. This step is very essential to get your skin hydrated. Since I’m using it, my skin literally got spoiled and I love it (why wouldn’t you want your skin to be happy? :)). I always use it with the Toner in the step before. Products I have used and recommend:
Sensai Cellular Performance Emulsion II (Moist), 107€ at Douglas.de
Etude House Moistfull Collagen Emulsion, ca. 16$ at EtudeHouse.com
  • No. 5: Preparing your skin for the following creme products. Apply a Serum to your skin. This is the maximum favor you can do for your skin in my opinion. Your skin will feel very smoothly when you consider this step and it helps to absorb the products during the next steps. You can choose between a huge variety of serums out there. It should match to your skin type – whether you have dry, oily or sensitive skin. I apply it mostly in the morning but you can do that in the evening, too, of course!
Etude House Ever Dew Boosting Oil ca. 16$ at Amazon.com
Biotherm Aquasource Deep Serum, ca. 52€ at Douglas.de
  • No. 6: Caring about your Eyes. After using a Serum and before you’re putting on any heavy cream on your face, you should apply an Eye Cream first. Apply just a little bit under your eyes. This product was considered to be just made for anti-aging for a long time but also for young people it’s an essential product. In this area our skin is very sensitive and a lot more thinner, so it should be moisturized and hydrated as well. Remember that applying make-up dries out the skin to a remarkable level, so consider this step as a primer for your skin in any way. I used these creams to avoid circles and to moisturize my skin around the eyes:
Benefit It’s Potent! Eye Cream, 34€ at benefitcosmetics.com
Restylane Eye Serum, ca. 76€ at koesmetik.de, sold out
  • No. 7: Moisturizing your face with a creme. Now this step got a little complicated as well nowadays. You can choose between the classical Nivea-creme or use a Water Creme, Gel Creme, Day Cream, Moisturizing Cream, Balm or whatever it’s called. There are no rules, really. Just find the cream that goes along with your skin type. I used a lot of different creams and I recommend using a Day Cream actually. But that might change in the future again, if I find a better product for me ;). Anyways, the cream should give hydration to your face the whole day until the evening. In any case, try to make sure that the Cream you’re getting or using contains a sunscreen (remarked as SPF on the packaging). Your skin will thank you later for remembering this. I promise!
Nature Republic Shea Butter Steam Cream (Moist) ca. 20$ at en.koreadepart.com
Shiseido Ibuki Refining Moisturizer Enriched, ca. 56€ at Douglas.de
Restylane Day Cream SPF15, 52€ at Amazon.de
  • No. 8: Restoring during the night. In the evening you should at first repeat most of the steps described above. Clean your face as mentioned before, use a Toner, Lotion and Serum (if you like) and also an Eye Cream just if you want to be sure (I usually skip the Eye Cream in the evening). You can skip step #7 because now you’ll be applying a Night Creme. This one helps your skin to restore and revitalize while you’re sleeping. When you lay down in bed your skin is able to absorb a lot of product actually. I just apply a thin layer on my face before going to bed and it really softens our skin on the long term. I’d recommend after using them:

Restylane Night Cream, 47€ at Amazon.de
Lancôme Visionnaire Nuit Beauty Sleep Perfector, 90€ at Douglas.de

These were the most important 8 steps. I didn’t mention that you should also use a mask pack/mask sheet and a peeling once a week. But this topic will be worth another blog entry 😉 I hope you enjoyed it so far and if you really do the Korean Skin Care routine within the next time you will be a K-Beauty-pro in no time! Make sure that you won’t do every single step if you have only applied one or two products so far. Add one product each time.

Until next time!

Kylie Lipkits Swatches, where to buy + Availability

I was thinking that I should introduce the other Kyle Lipkits I got plus their Glosses. As I wrote in my first blog entry, the first one I bought was “Koko K” last summer, a rather nude pinkish Lipstick with a grey undertone. After that, I ordered “Mary Jo K” a few weeks later cause I was looking for a nice matte red lipstick. Mary Jo K is a true blue red, and it looks like this ⇓ on the website of Kylie Cosmetics.

I was really satisfied with the quality of this red lipstick. As I wrote before, Koko K didn’t last for long on the lips and it crackled in a not so pretty way. But really, I can swear to you, Mary Jo K lasts the whole day!! I wore it on a wedding party, from morning to the middle of the night and it seriously did its job. No need for applying it a second time. I was surprised! I can say without doubt that is the BEST red matte lipstick I own. Probably the best matte lipstick of all colors I got. You can see more pics later in this post.

I’ve got two matching Glosses for free when I ordered “Candy K” and “Posie K” at the end of last year. It was something like a Christmas special, when I remember right. So, the Glosses are named the same as the matte liquid lipsticks. Here you see some pictures of all 4 different lipsticks and their glosses I got.

And to sum it up, here are the swatches from the website for these 4 shades:

From left to right: Mary Jo K, Candy K, Koko K, Posie K.

And this is what they look like at home 🙂 :

From bottom to the top: Candy K, Posie K, Koko K, Mary Jo K + Candy K Gloss and Posie K Gloss.

You see, after taking a picture of my arm I wanted to wash the colors away but look how water-proof they actually are!!!!! I was again amazed by all of them. 😀

And last but not least… don’t forget the Lip Liners of each Lip Kit!

Now, what do they look like when worn?

In these two pictures I’m wearing Candy K. I prefer Candy K before Koko K! Because it doesn’t crackle as Koko K and the color quite matches with my skintone 🙂 sorry for the Snapchat-Pic anyways. 😉

On the left I’m wearing Koko K and on the right Mary Jo K. These photos are a bit old as you can see, I’ve turned completely blonde by now. 😀

So, I would say 3 of 4 lipsticks are really great!! Actually I like the tones of all 4 of them but the crackling of Koko K ist just a no-go. But as I heard they changed the formula of the Lipsticks after a lot of complaining by customers, that’s why I guess the 3 ones I got after that work just fine. They are long-lasting, don’t fade if you eat and drink something and for matte lipsticks they don’t even look too dry, which is an often seen side-effect of so many matte lipsticks by various brands..

Unfortunate fact: KylieCosmetics doesn’t ship to Germany anymore. By that time when I got the Lip Kits + 2 free Glosses it already was like that but luckily a friend bought them for me in the US anyways. For me, I guess that was the last purchasing of KylieCosmetics-products in the soon future…..?! 😦 When I found out about that, I’ve sent an E-Mail to the customer service of KylieCosmetics to really find out what’s going on. I got an answer right away and the nice lady told me that it’s because of the German Laws.. it seems like some contents of the formula in their lipsticks doesn’t go along with the German Law, lol. That’s why and they won’t be able to change this situation until the laws here would be changed. Soooo…. guess that won’t be happening any time soon. Sad thing! If there’s a way or if they will be allowed here again I will surely buy more shades and upload the experience with them here.

BE AWARE OF FAKES SOLD AT ONLINE SHOPS AS AMAZON AND EBAY! It’s no secret that they are getting copied and sold as the “original ones” but don’t trust them. If not at the Kylie Cosmetics store in the US or at their Online shop, they are not sold ANYWHERE!

If you’re not living in Germany, you can order their products on their online shop and they’re being shipped to so many countries. Again, have a look at KylieCosmetics.com if you really want to purchase their make-up. 🙂 it’s worth it!!

What I think about NYX.. + Swatches

For my second blog entry I thought about something that came out of nowhere here in Germany and is still a trend. Personally, I didn’t know about NYX and its soft matte lip creams until they were available at Douglas. All the girls trying to get one and looking for the perfect shade, I was thinking “is it really that good?”.

Surely, the price is attractive. You can get the soft matte lip creams for around 7€ at either Douglas (here) or at DM (here) while DM is just a little bit cheaper (talking for German shops).

So, I decided to get some as well. I started with the shade “Milan” (see the pinkish one below) and bought “London” (the brown one) shortly after. I liked pinkish tones, cause I am quite pale and it matches my skin tone. Plus I think it suits every blonde woman!

That was the first time I tried some brown-ish lipstick and also the NYX ones were my first MATTE lipsticks. With these two I was so satisfied and wore them nearly everyday.

By now I got some different colors which I thought match to my pale skin.

From left to right you can see: Tokyo, Milan, San Paulo, Copenhagen, Stockholm, London, Abu Dhabi. Oh, on the top left you see another Matte Lipstick which is not liquid but also nice. On the very right is one shade of NYX Lingerie lipstick in the shade Embellishment. I was a bit disappointed of the Lingerie shade cause it makes me look dull.

I decided to add swatches of the shades I got so far for you guys. I also added two Lip Liners I got by NYX besides the lipsticks I mentioned and showed above:

I gotta add, that some shades I just used one time until now (Copenhagen and Abu Dhabi) have dried out so fast in the bottle, even though it’s not so long ago when I bought them.. 😦

So, what I’d say to these is:

  • Price: Is totally okay. You don’t really regret buying it even if it’s not THE lipstick for you.
  • Quality: Meeh. I think they smell nice and have pretty colours, each one of them. But the color is not really lasting. They don’t crackle like the Koko K Kylie Lipstick, which I’ve wrote about here in my first blog entry. But I guess one cannot really complain about it cause the price is fair enouh.
  • One big plus!: NYX is a self-declared cruelty-free brand. Yay!

All in all, NYX is an affordable drugstore brand which I wouldn’t want to miss in my make-up organizer. They are fine for everyday-life but surely they are not for the “fancy going-out-evenings” in my opinion.

First blog entry goes to.. KylieCosmetics

So, the reason I started this blog is that I want to share and give you information about the products I use and tried out. When I thought of a BOOM from the past year, I came up thinking of Kylie Jenner’s lipsticks of course!

Kylie Jenner wearing “Koko K”

Why? Kylie established her own make-up and cosmetic empire during the past year. I know that she also released her own eyeliners and eye shadow palettes by now but the thing started with some shades of her matte liquid lipstick, I guess.

I must admit that I totally had to get one of her lipsticks to try them out.. I am really loving her style! The first shade I got was “Koko K”. I ordered it online last summer and sure, I payed around 15$ just for the shipping and around 30$ for the lipstick + lip liner itself. But that was totally okay. I was just happy because they were sold out SO fast at that time.

I was so happy when they arrived at my house!!!!! The packaging was just awesome and the little personal message from Kylie (even though its just printed like for everybody, lol) was quite charming. The “Matte Liquid Lipstick & Lip Liner” is a set consisting of the liquid lipstick and the lip liner – identical shades but the lip liner is important for outlining the lips.

Tadaaa, that’s me wearing it right after I got the delivery. 🙂 I gotta say I was super satisfied with the color of Koko K (totally matches Khloé Kardashian, the lippy was obviously dedicated to her). It smelled nice but…. after a while, let’s say 30min to an hour, it just faded from my lips. I mean the color faded in the middle of my lips and was just left at the outer lines. That looked not so nice and clearly said it dried out my lips and even looked like that. But still…. nice color.

After that I got more shades of Kylie’s lipsticks but I will write another post about it. 🙂 Because that might take some time, haha.
